There is a lot of talk about crime, but what do the statistics say?
Murders and bombings make the headlines, but murders, both with and without firearms, are now decreasing. Offences classified as arson and other acts causing public danger are increasing, however. Fraud and drug offences are reported more often, burglaries and robberies are reported less, but cases of assault are going up again after a steady decline.
