Navigating efficiently in worksheets
Being able to navigate quickly in worksheets is important. You often work with tables in Excel where you want to update a formula in an entire column, or where you want to move quickly from the last row of a table to the first row. To feel comfortable in such situations you need to know a few things about efficient navigation. It is mainly about being able to freeze panes so that certain rows and columns are always visible no matter how far you scroll in any direction in a worksheet, and about being able to use keyboard shortcuts to move around worksheets faster than is possible with only the mouse and arrow keys.
